80% of the time LOVE on your body. 20% of the time your body can handle processing debris and remain completely vital.
That equation sounds simple right? Unfortunately, so much can derail our perfectly laid out plan. In a diet driven culture, we can easily set ourselves up for disordered eating patterns. Truly never reaching sustainability and the pure savory gift that food can give us.
Our bodies are also being assaulted every day by our environment. We are mainly an indoor society, lacking sunshine, fresh air, and pointed movement. Living a more holistic lifestyle can make you feel better and live vibrantly longer with the absence of disease!
Bottom line--If we do not invest in our health we most certainly will invest in disease. If you do not take care of your body where are you going to live?
We are encouraged in scripture to see our body as a temple. What works for you? What doesn't? I am encouraging you to dive deep within yourself, be real, be honest, and commit to loving your God-given self-worth.
